First Day High
First day of school was yesterday, June 13. But I wasn’t able to come because I went to my mom’s hometown. My uncle won as Mayor of the town so we celebrated his victory and at the same time he was the Hermano Mayor this year. The governor was there too, he even sang a song. So since I wasn’t able to attend school yesterday, today would be considered as my first day of school. I was really nervous because everyone is a stranger. But when I arrived there, my father accompanied me to the third floor. He kept asking a lot of questions (so overprotective). I was a bit embarassed though. I saw Jim and RJ (my high school batchmates). I was a bit relieved when I found out that we had some same classes together. I was shocked because I thought Jim is studying in Manila, that’s why I didn’t recognize him when I saw him. RJ, he told me, he didn’t attend 2nd sem last year, like me. At first, we had those kumusta conversations. Then, they were conversing about DOTA and other computer games. Nothing has change, they’re still DOTA boys. Since I have no interest in DOTA, I wasn’t able to ride with the conversation. We exchanged cellphone numbers. Globe din sila. What pisses me off is that Rodell is also studying there, my nemesis. He keeps making baraw. Our classes were regular already. We had lessons in most of our subject. I ate lunch at Mcdo, all by myself. New experience. I’m exhausted already, my sched was 8am-7pm, only on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It’s a good thing, my dad picked me up or else maybe I was still there right now waiting for the ABE shuttle to come together with so many students.
